COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
ABV: 4.4% IBU: 39 Color SRM: 6 This American-style Pale Ale is deep golden in color with a well-pronounced fruity, floral and citrus-like American-variety hop bitterness, flavor and aroma. It has a medium body and low-medium maltiness with mild biscuity-toasty malt flavors dominating over very low caramel character. Fruity-ester flavor and aroma is moderate to strong.

4 oz sample at the Normal brewpub. This beer is hazy tangerine colored. Almost no head. Little nose but some spice. The flavor has bigger hops than expected. They are citrus and resiny. Light caramel doesn’t keep up with the hops. This is tasty.

On tap @ the brewpub in Champaign. Medium golden amber, lacy white head. Aroma is nice, lots of soft tropical fruit. Fruity hop character, light caramel malts, soundly bitter finish. Solid pale ale.

Tap - big foamy head, light amber color, big hop aroma, balanced flavor - not as much hops as you would expect from the aroma, but not bad nonetheless

Sampled on tap at the brewpub (Normal, IL). Pours a nice glowing golden hue with a touch of orange glow. Lively carbonation with a touch of haze, frothy offwhite head dies to a decent layer and laces ok. Aromas are decent touches of florals and citrus, gentle grass and pale malts, bread. Simple with a decent fresh hop nose. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied, preaching a light floral and lemony hop presence, decent bitterness moves into pale malts with touches of carmelization. Pale malts mix into a more sturdy decent citrusy and earthy hopping. Florals and grass. Growing decent hop fresh bitterness. Finish is lingering hop bitterness, growing over the malt feel.

draft... an ugly pale, murky gold with lots of copper, light tan head... light floral nose, but just not much going on... tastes too sweet, boring, not terrible, but blah

Draught at the Normal location. Pours cloudy orange with very little carbonation and a very small white head. The aroma is fruity hops, some wood, and buttery English-style malt. The flavor is over-ripened fruit, strong piney bitterness, honey and wood notes in the background. The finish is bitter and woody with a little bit of grapefruit and lemon.

Pour is a orange with a soapy white head. Aroma is plenty of cirtus hops and a nice malty back bone. Flavor is more of the same. Nice citrus hop to start out with some come a solid bready malt. A decent pale ale on par with SNPA.

My go-to beer at Destihl. This beer pours an amber/orange with a froth white head. The nose is dominated by c-hops and has a strong citrus component. A slight maltiness complements the bitterness in the mouth.

Can be found at the Brewery/Restaurant, and is included on the sample flight. Nothing special, just a simple little Spring Ale.

on tap-pours a white head that laces and gold color. Aroma is citrus, some light malt. Taste is citrus-bitter lemon, secondary light/medium malt. OK effervescence.
