on tap-pours pale yellow with a white head. Aroma is vegetal, lemon. Taste is plastic, mint, vegetal.

On tap at the brand new brewpub in Champaign, part of a large tasting flight that I wasn’t even charged for! Very very pale straw yellow, no head. Wow! This beer is an epic disaster. Aroma is quite chemical, acetone in particular, a little skunk, and some vague fruit esters. Okay, now comes the task of dissecting this palate. For a brief 1/10 of a second, if you pay attention, there is a white grape juice sweetness that is detectable just before the astringent arsenic peach pit bitterness peels the lining from your mouth. Holy fuck. Something weirdly smoky too, like burning garbage. God have mercy. Fantastically appalling.
