3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. can, pours a clear amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma of candied sugar, resinous hops, caramel, and floral notes. Flavour brings out loads of woody resinous hops, earthy notes, and light candied sugar. Quite earthy and woody, with a nice balance. Finishes hoppy, with low astringency. Very nice stuff.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz can from The Beer Shoppe (Ardmore PA). Pours a clear golden orange color with a thick frothy off white head. Aroma is boozy, lots of maltiness, and old citrus fruit. Taste is much the same. Old rotted grapefruit zest, tons of syrupy maltiness, caramel, slightly vinous, and boozy. Doesn’t taste too fresh. Can figure out the canned on date, but looks like it was possibly canned in March or April.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
can. Amber with one finger head. Medium malt base. Big hops and booze. Noticeable alcohol burn. On the harsh side, but reasonably good hops.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Hoppy aroma. A bit of malt and a lot of earthiness. Certainly the hops is there, but there’s a dirty quality, a hint of citrus with the bitterness. Not bad, but not a standout, though the level of alcohol is well masked.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a mostly clear orange copper with lasting head and great lacing. Aroma is strong and pleasant, with more earthy herbal and perfumy hops more than citrus and pine. Taste is also more on the earthy side of the DIPA spectrum, with some lingering citrus and grapefruit. Strong overall, making it more of a sipper, even for this style.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours lightly hazy deep orange/copper color with a 2 finger fairly dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty foamy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, floral, grass, caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good complexity and solid balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate dark malt sweetness; with decent strength. A bit too perfumy/piney with weak strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, floral, grass, pine, caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon/orange zest, citrus rind, pine, caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity and balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate dark malt sweetness; with a great bitterness/sweetness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a smooth and fairly creamy/sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a nice DIPA. Good complexity and balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate dark malt sweetness; and very smooth to sip on for the ABV. A nicely enjoyable offering.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can to glass. Beautiful deep, clear orange pour. A little off-white head and lacing. Hops and maybe a little bread in the aroma. Definitely hops leading the taste, but kept in check. A little sweetness, but the hops rules. Medium carbonation. A little bitterness at the end.
