COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a German-style Märzen characterized by a medium body and light reddish-orange color. Sweet maltiness dominates slightly over a clean hop bitterness. Malt character is light-toasted rather than strongly caramel with bread or biscuit-like malt character present in aroma and flavor. Hop aroma and flavor are low but notable, while fruity esters are absent.

draft... bright orange beer, big light tan head, not a bad looking beer... tastes ok, but just a typical marzen, doesn’t stand out, average

Draft at GABF. Deep copper color with a sticky head. Nose is round and toasty, like fruit notes from the Munich malt. Soft noble hop notes as well. On tasting, lots of bread crust and clean malt notes. Pretty full flavored and refreshing overall. Solid beer.

Draft on tap at the brewpub (Bloomington, IL). Pours a robust glowing orange amber, nice light haze, frothy white head sits atop, films thicker and full, good lacing. Aromas are a nice lightly malted beer, toasty bread, a touch of biscuits, faint sweeter caramel with a touch of spice. Initial is lighter bodied, goes down smooth with sweeter bready malts and toast, a touch of toffee, floral and grassy bitter hops with a touch of spiciness. Lighter, dry finish with sweeter and toasty bready malts in the middle. A nice sessionable lager here, dry finish, with less spice and a lighter feel to it overall, perfect for sessioning without too much sweet heavy malt to hold it down. Nice
