Lots of head. Not much to this, kinda bland but nut undrinkable. Midwest Belgian beer festival at perennial.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft on tap at Beer Under Glass 2012 (Chicago, IL). Pours a rich well hazed straw yellow hue, flashes of golden glow and yellow haze. A big frothy head sits atop, cakes well and laces ok overall. Good haze and lasting rich head. Aromas are bright vibrant lemon and orange, zesty with some gentle tartness, flaked wheat and gentle cereal malts. Touches of coriander dance in as it warms, light white pepper. Initial is heavier end of light bodied offering a fluffy yet flavorful feel on the palate. Inviting with tart lemons, zest, touches of orange. Dry with gentle hops, dry cereal grains and bread, flaked wheat. Gentle citrus, mellow crisp sweetness into the middle. A touch of spice, dry bread, straw into the backend and finish. Mellow white pepper, coriander. Inviting, refreshing, yet not underbodied, with more of a slant towards lemons. Solid summer refresher. Vibrant nose and appearance, solid beer.

First to rate! ...and I had it a long time ago. Disappointing - smells like Pine-Sol and hot dogs (girlfriend described garbage or vomit). RIDICULOUSLY sour entry, like a sour candy (think Warheads) that finishes with orange and mild spice.
