On tap at Champaign brewpub. Pours cloudy yellow like a hefe. Flavor is thin and watery with a mild bitter hops aftertaste. Very underwhelming.

On tap at the Champaign location. Pours a hazy golden orange with a thin white head. Aroma of bready, pale malts. Flavor features more sweet fruits up front with pale, bready/crackery malt. Light and easy to drink. Good for what it is. 7/4/7/3/13 (3.4/5)

Draft as Champaign Blonde ale. Pours a lightly hazed pale gold with a sticky white head. The nose is more aromatic than anticipated. Quite fruity with a cherry note that may be Brett derived? Graininess in nose as well. On tasting, there is a light tartness and slight grainy notes. More bitter than I would expect, but balanced. Also a light caramel finish as well. Pretty decent overall, once you get past the bit of funky notes.

draft... the bartender told me this was for their non craft beer drinkers so I had low expectations, however its really easy to drink and unoffensive, not really a recommend but could have been a lot worse

Draught at the Normal location. Pours cloudy straw yellow with a blue sheen and a dense white head (it actually looks like a witbier). The aroma is very subtle and floral with some bready doughnut notes, some faint yeasty spice notes. The flavor is bready malt with some ever-so-faint spicy and floral notes. The finish has a quick earthy quality, maybe a lemon zest note. Not bad for what it is.

Draft on tap at the brewpub (Normal, IL). Pours a nice pale straw hue, a good haziness, glowing yellow with a moderate bright white carbonation driven head that dies to a tiny ring clinger, slight lacing. Aromas are cereal grains and bread, touches of grass, simple and mellow. Cracked grains, bread, crackers. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied preaching drinkability. Lighter flavors show some bread, dough, crackers. Gentle touches of grass and faint lemon. Some florals with a minimal hoppiness. Quite clean overall, lacking life that I remember in the lager variant. Finish is clean, cool, faint bitterness and some lingering grainy and cereal qualities. Ok, but not something I’d drink here with so many other good options on tap.

On tap at the brand new brewpub in Champaign, part of a large tasting flight that I wasn’t even charged for! Clear light gold, thin head. Grainy and lightly fruity aroma and flavour, light and clean with a quick finish.
