Pour on tap at GABF, hazy orange pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of white fruit, nice funk, oak, hints of lemon, slight earthy and yeast notes, slight spice as well in there, more white fruit with apricot. Taste is a mix of sweet and jammy apricot peach, nice vanilla into oak, slight funk, bretty type of tones, some slight spice, yeast, finishing fairly sour, lemony.

Tap at Sugar Maple. Hazy orange body, no real head, some faint rimming. Big lactic sour apricot aroma, fucked out wild brett, deep and sweet. A odd creature, intense. Pungent, very deep lactic sourness. There are some off tones, but they are muted by the sour fruit tones. A fascinating beer, clearly a lot of time and effort went into it, but you can’t really call it World Class..most Belgians have this one beat. Barnyard scat undertones.

GABF 2012. Pours with a hazed straw yellow hued body with a small white head. Very funky aroma, medium acidity, estery, light tropical fruit/stone fruit. Flavors are very tart and cleanly so, with some stone fruit and stomach acid. Dried apricot. Floral. Dry with medium carbonation.

Enamel-ripping sour. Rich apricot flavor, very dry. Not a bad one but could have used more complexity.

Sample at GABF 10/11/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. The beer is a hazy dark golden color with a medium fluffy white head and small patches of lace. Aroma of herbs and apricots. Medium body with a moderately sour apricot flavor with some spice and malt notes. The finish is fruity with an apricot aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Draft at GTMW 12. Pours an attractive gold, faint haze and fluffy head. The nose is fruity with tart lactic acid permeating. Soft wheat and a faint apricot note overall. On tasting, fresh and clean, a slight harsh acidic bite that seems to fade. Sour and clean on the palate. Would love to see them add some more apricots to the barrel to push that profile more. Pretty nice and light.
