(Draught) Pours a light hazy golden pink body with a small white head. Aroma of raspberries, barnyard, and caramel. Flavor of raspberries, vinous, caramel, light balsamic, and some citrus with a moderately dry wood finish.

GABF. Cloudy red pour. Aroma of sour raspberry jam, a little bit of lemon and a light cheesy, lactic funk. Sour raspberries, lactic sourness, fruity as hell, lots of wonderful things being made by this brewery!

GABF 2012. Tried this baby a few times over two nights. Pours a hazy reddish appearance with an off white head. Big raspberry, a bit seedy, vanilla, like oaky, vinous nose. Super tart, raspberry, red vinous, funky, quite sour flavor. Very nice stuff.

3.5yr version on tap at GABF. Pours with a hazed copper to golden hued body with a minimal white head. Aromas are of vanillin, wood, oak, tart, cherries, musty funky and very acidic with only a mild acetic bite. Flavors are super acidic, bright cherries, wood, dry and acidic. Lovely!

Sampled from the tap at 2010 FOBAB. Poured a hazy deep red with an off-white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma had a nice strong sour raspberry note with a slight sweet raspberry note and a hint of dry wine. Flavor started with slightly sweet raspberry with a strong growing sour note and just a bit dry in the finish.

FoBAB 2010: Coppery hue with minimal head or lace. The aroma has notes of pure acetone and white vinegar with lots of horsey funk and slight pepper along with moderate raspberry and red grapes. The taste is sour fruit, sour vinegar, and cheesy brettanomyces for the most part. There is a light and faint flowery, grainy, and oak. Some medicinal characteristics show up on the palate as well but not nearly as strong as the nose. The mouth feel is super tart and puckery, sharp edges and still found to be a bit watery and uninspired. While there is some promise, this beer is need of some depth, far too one-dimensional.

On tap at GABF says aged for 4 years, pour was almost milky reddish pink with white head, aroma brought nice notes of raspberry, grapes, lots of funk and lemony lactic notes. Taste is very, very sour, lots of big lemony lactic notes but with a nice sweet and tart raspberry note, nice funky fruit skins and dusty barnyard, some cheesy notes, finishing tart and lemony, more raspberries in there as well. Really nice stuff.

Sampled at FoBAB 2010 (Chicago, IL). Pours a glowing orange amber, fiery, decent haze, small whitish head dies to near non-existant head. Aromas are a decent dose of vinegar, wet oak, and brett. Some sour raspberry, bready malts, leather and funk. Initial is high vinegar funk, acidic and balsamic, some raspberry tannins peek through, touches of pulp. Lighter bodied with a deeper acidic finish, tart and lactic aceto. A lot of vinegar, peeks of raspberry, funky barnyard and leather are there but ridden off by high acidity. Decent balsamic dressing appeal. Tasty, a bit big for itís britches and a beer that would scare "greener" sour fans away

On tap (FoBAB 2011) : The aroma consists of big tart raspberries, sour lemon, and a touch of acetone. Itís a transparent abmer with a touch of haze and a small off-white ring around the edges of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick dose of tart raspberries before quickly being overtaken by mouthpuckering sour lemon and a touch of acetone. Itís light bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, this reminds me of a slightly more mild version of the good bottles of the Hanssens Experimental Raspberry that Iíve had.
