Sample at FoBAB. Pours a cloudy yellow gold color with a small white head. The aroma is tart/sour tropical fruit, some acidity and wood. The flavor has big tropical fruits, peach, tart, lactic sour notes, wood, at times tingly going on mouth puckering mouth feel. A change if pace at the festival.

Fobab #1

Pours a hazy golden colro with a small almost non existent head.

The aroma is earthy with some light solvent notes, the beer is funky smelling and has some nice sour cherry character and some tropical fruit.

The flavor is tart and fruity, plenty of tart cherries, plenty earthy... lightly vinegary.

Sample at GABF 10/11/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. The beer is a hazy golden color with a medium white head and a top ring of lace. Aroma of tropical fruits and malt. Medium-bodied and moderately sour with flavors of pineapple and grainy malt. The finish is fruity with a citrus and tropical fruit aftertaste. Decent overall.
