A toast to Old Man Winter, this Dark Belgian-style Specialty Ale with chocolate/toasty maltiness combined with just the right amount of spices and spruce tips to help warm you up after those cold, wintry, snowblowing days.

[Tap] Pint at the taproom in Normal. Medium brown in color. Tan colored head. Nose is of cocoa, toasted malts and clove. Taste includes nutmeg, pinecone, clove, dark rye malts and hints of vanilla. Leans towards the sweet side, in my opinion. Decent. Tasting notes from 2/2014.
