Cloudy orange pour with a touch of pink. Strawberries deliver on the nose with banana esters and a touch of cereal. Flavor is mostly bubblegum with a slightly oxidized mild citrus. quite dry and lack of expected sweetness. Likely just past its prime. Nose was great but lacked flavor.

Aroma is strawberries and spicy grains. The flavor is strawberries, spicy/thick grainy malts, fruit and a mildly sweet/tart finish.

Tap at Town Hall. Hazy yellow pour with a white head. Soft yet fruity strawberry nose and taste. Sweet but not cloying. Easy drinker. Pretty good.

Bottle, shared by me... in my dining room... just now.
Pours a hazy blonde color with a medium sized head that sort of fades to a smaller but well retained head.

Aroma is softly spicy & doughy with some very light strawberry character. It has a touch of husky graininess and some minerallity.

The flavor is very nice & well balanced. The thing that strikes me the most is the strawberry character that is tart and easily identifiable, yet is decidedly subtle in the grand scheme of things. The beer has a light but sharp bitterness, a nice yeasty/doughy thing going on, a little bit of honey (although the beer is not especially sweet). The malt character borders on husky/grainy but never gets to an unpleasant place.

pretty enjoyable beer.

As part of a tap takeover to celebrate their release in the Ohio market Destihl offered this very nice summer session beer. I was eager to try the base for the phenomenal sour from the GTMW a few years ago. While a little expensive I recommend this for anyone looking for a light fruity refreshing tap.

Aroma / Appearance - A cloudy golden body fills the glass with mystery. Crisp white head adds a layer of contrast. Wheat, fresh strawberries, and light pleasant aspects sparkle like a glass full of strawberry shortcake complete with whipped cream.

Flavor / Palate - A light mouthfeel is rich with lemons, strawberries, and wheat. This is one of those beers where what you taste is what you get - it does not really evolve in the course of a few sips. A solid summer fruit release is great for those hot days on the patio or when you are at a festival and need a break from the 10% BA stouts.

On tap @ Destihl. Hazed slightly orange hued gold beer with a white head. Really nice berry aroma. Quite jammy and sweet. Bread dough and a hint of stems. Flavor is quite nice and fruity. Tons of strawberry and strawberry jam. Slight tartness, some fresh bread dough, and very, very light bitterness. Good stuff.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a near clear gold with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of strawberry with some light sweet grains and a touch of bread. Flavor is full of rich strawberry that combine nicely with a light sweet grain.

Tap at Pizza Luce. Hazy light orange with a thin head. Yeasty, faint under ripe strawberry and corn flakes. Tastes like it smells. Body is lighter. Would have liked it more if it were fruitier and less yeasty.

On tap at the Beer House in Yorktown Center, Lombard, IL., dispensed to a stemmed/footed ale glass showing a clear, golden hue, with frothy, white head foam, and spots & strands of lacing. The nose was light grain and a bright dose of strawberry & sweetness. The taste was similar, with a little less expression, low hop bitterness, light to medium body, with lively enough effervescence to hold my interest. Quite tasty!

tap - Pours gold with a mild aroma of berries that come out more as it warms. The flavor is surprisingly well hopped, more than I expected for a fruity blonde ale. The strawberries are in there though fairy subtle at first. They linger in the finish. An okay beer.

Sampled at the brewpub. Hazy golden. Serious strawberry. Very fresh tasting. This is not a favored style but this is nicer that most. Some hops jump out and add nicely.
