COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This West Coast/Rocky Mountain-style India Pale Ale is back-hopped for a more intense hop bitterness, flavor and aroma without the balance of caramel malts like our Midwest-style Baldock IPA. It has medium-high alcohol content, high fruity, floral and citrus-like American-varietal hop character, deep golden color and medium maltiness.

I am glad to see Destihlís canned offerings are improving. I have liked their beers when Iíve had them on draft at festivals but their packaged offering have by and large not been of the best quality. It looks like thatís changing, at least w/ this beer. It is a nice orange color in the class w/ a creamy white head and stripes of lacing. The aroma here doesnít really knock you out but itís fresh and citrusy w/ some floral and wood pine overtones. There is a bit of a caramel taste here which implies sweetness but this really pretty dry overall. This has firm, fine-bubbled carbonation and a sharp bite of earthy bitterness. Overall, this is a pretty good beer. I could see myself going through a few these in a night if offerred.

Aroma is tropical fruit/peel, pine and citrus. The flavor is tropical fruit, grapefruit, hop resin, malts and a medium bitter finish.

Can, shared by me... in my dining room... just now.
Pours a lightly reddish golden color with a respectable head and lace.

The aroma is nice, itís got some melon, pine, and a little onion. Itís pretty subdued malt wise but some caramel does come through in the bouquet.

The flavor is nicely bitter with a little bit of malt toastiness in the background & a touch of caramel sweetness. The finish is basically dry with a lingering bitterness. The hop character is punchy and citrusy with some light pineyness.

Really pretty good, leaps and bounds above that canned double IPA they do.

Grapefruitty hoppy goodness to start with a nice hoppy bitter finish. Smells really hoppy and citruscy. Pours copper in color with a thick tan head. Super crushable, very west coast style. Had out of a bottle at home ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a nice amber color and has nice lacing. There is good head retention and it smells quite floral. Tastes of heather and gardenia. A nice surprise and a beer I would look for again.

Draft at pinnocchios. Pours clear amber with a small white head. The aroma has a light pine, citrus notes, lift caramel. The taste has a light to medium bitterness, some light citrus notes, a bit of a residual orange juice. Pretty good.

Draft. Its like imitating someone who it imitating someone else. Destihl doesnít make some of my ipa favorites but this is okay, less malt than thier other one but still missing something.

On tap at bainbridge, pours clearish golden with whte head and tiny bubbles. Notes of orange hop, popcorn, grain, light caramel malt and pine. Pretty basic and average overall. Light to medium body
