COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This West Coast/Rocky Mountain-style India Pale Ale is back-hopped for a more intense hop bitterness, flavor and aroma without the balance of caramel malts like our Midwest-style Baldock IPA. It has medium-high alcohol content, high fruity, floral and citrus-like American-varietal hop character, deep golden color and medium maltiness.

Clear copper hued with a thick rocky white head. Big hoppy resin nose with a little grapefruit and delicious floral hops and the littlest bit of pine. Lovely big and full flavor thats well balanced with a big flavorful hop bouquet--lots of orange/grapefruit rind, floral resin, a touch of pine, a bit of caramel and fresh hoppy tones. Very flavorful and full yet sublimely balanced.

Can. Pours bright clear orange with white head. Aroma of sweet citrus, mandarins, caramel. Taste is medium bodied, sweet for an IPA, medium carbonation. Overall, not that great.

Can. Pour is lightly hay copper with a medium white head. Aroma is sugary caramel malt with a rich pine and citrus hop element. Faintly resinous as well but not astringent. Flavor is caramel malt and resinous hop with a lingering background chlorine flavor that I cannot shake. Would be a solid IPA without the chemicals. Not much evident in the aroma but sure is present in the flavor. Has a chance to be good, just need to clean up the processing.

12 oz can. Pours clear copper gold with a big fluffy white head that retains well and laces the glass a little.

The aroma is sweet bready crystal malt with some piney hops.

The flavor is sweet doughy crystal malts with a little fruit and resiny grassy hops in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with light carbonation.

Overall, a decent IPA. A little too much crystal malt and grassy hop flavor for me.

12 oz. can. Pours a clear bronze with moderate effervescence and a moderate amount of uneven, cream-colored head. Produces good, long-lasting lacing. Floral aroma features scents of apricot, dust, cream, and vanilla. Pleasant although not very well developed aroma. The flavor is consistent with the aroma, although the flavor is more herbal and dirt-like. Pear and vanilla flavor elements. Juicy taste. Sweeter than a typical IPA. Dry aftertaste. Medium body. Utterly ordinary palate effects. Overall, this is a decent beer, but it seems somehow unsophisticated.

Amber colored with thin white head. Dank and resiny hop aroma and taste with backbone of toasted malt. Slight bitter finish. Pretty good ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear, dark orange to copper pour with a 2 finger, creamy beige head. Aroma is big on citrus, passion fruit, mango, perfumey floral and sweet spruce hop notes, a hint of sweet and biscuit malts make it out, but mostly all awesome hops. Flavor is toast, light husky grain, bready yeast, then tree fruit blossoms, perfume, blackberry, spruce, citrus flesh and zest and nice sweet spruce notes. I thought the awesome tropical fruit notes in the aroma somehow were almost completely absent from the flavor profile, but for some reason, they don’t really pick up until the finish and into the aftertaste, along with some toasty, brown sugar and mineral notes. Medium body, nearly neutral, creamy entry, light to medium, blanketing carbonation, off, dry, slightly creamy, juicy finish. Really good stuff.

12 oz. can transferred to a goblet, showing a clear, deep, orangey/gold hue, with a frothy & persistent layer of off white head foam, and spots & streaks of lacing. The aroma started with some malt sweetness, a wisp of dank hops, then expressive & perfumy citrus, tropical hints, resiny astringency on the back, along with a subtle biscuit scent. The taste followed similarly, with medium citrus & rind hop bitterness, a touch of equally lingering, mellowing malt & sweetness, and some dryness & earthiness that also followed into the finish. Medium bodied, with presentable carbonation, and a pleasant creaminess that conveyed the flavor notes. A decent, palate friendly IPA.

Draft to pint at Destihl. Looks solid; malty though. A fairly transpArent copperish brown with foamy off-white head. Smells of fruity Nd floral hops with a fairly sweet but not cloying malt backbone. Tastes like it smells, but sweeter. LOTS of caramel that overtakes the hops. Mouthfeel is medium full-bodied and sticky. A malt bomb.
