Wow, what a nice holiday beer. The pour is hazy dark straw/brownish, with medium head. The aroma was caramel malty and spicy. The taste had caramel malt coupled with gingerbread, pine, hopcit, peppermint, and even green gumdrop hints. This one is really like Christmas in a glass. The bartender told me that Emerson even used actual spruce in the brew kettles!! Now that’s what I call originality! Well done.
