Bottled. Pours clear amber with a small, lacing, off-white head. Aroma of toasted caramel, dried fruits and licorice notes. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry with bitter notes and alcohol. Medium bodied, oily texture and flat carb. A very nice Barley.

Splitenz (331) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 1, 2014
This is lovely. Pours a ruby, maybe chestnut brown. Only slight head. Strong burning spirits in the smell, but not the taste. It’s figs glüwein and the texture is fleeting and mysterious. Plums and toffee, sweet malts and strong warming alcohol. The word is "yum".

Bottle at Schouskjelleren, march 29th 2014. Dark brown body with a low tanned head. Aroma of toffee, raisins, orange, oak and alcohol. Sweet thick malty taste with caramel, dired fruiit, walnuts, wood and chocolate, nice complexity. Warm alcohol fruity finish, a good strong enjoyable one from Det Lille Bryggeri

Bottle. Pours a clear cherry-red color with a small tan head. Aroma of hops, fruits, spices, malt and yeast. Taste is like the aroma. Overall quite sweet and malty with a fair bit of alcohol in the finish. Full bodied and smooth. Pretty good for a barley wine - I would happily drink it again.
