Bottle shared by KnutAlbert. Dense low head. Foggy reddish brown body. Surprisingly fresh fruitiness in the aroma, mixed with whisky tones, and whiffs of oak and ash. Taste has a rounded liqeurish malt-sweetness with whisky in the lead. Lots of fruity hop bitterness to back up and to balance. Faint oaky. Distinct alcohol, not disturbing. Full, and warm in the mouth. Lingering alcohol heath in the finish. Strong and rough, yet in balance. Really good stuff.

Complex aroma, fruit, alcohol and a hint of smoke. Lots of hoppy flavour, blends well with the malt. Pepper, alcohol.

Bottle at home. Cloudy red/brown - white head. High wood. Dry wooden. Nice. Dark fruits. Dark berries. Light hoppy. Nice.

Botella from a tube. Fruity smoke whiskyish alco woody aroma. Good mouthfeel. Sweet woody fruity bitter smoke whisky alco flavour. Pleasant.

flavor is delicious, sweet, oak, malts, caramel, sweet. very nice, very sweet, but it works well. slight fruity touch too.

Bottle. Hazy dark reddish with a medium creamy off white head. The aroma is sweet caramel, whisky, smoke and some fruit. Very sweet flavour with notes of pepper, light smoke and spicy whisky. Sweet oaky finish.

Unclear medium amber color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, wet wood, smoke notes. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, smoke notes. Body is medium to full, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20100409]

Bottle. Medium high fluffy lasting off-white head. Hazy orange brown body. Roasted malt smoke wood whisky aroma. Mild and smooth relatively sweet whisky malt caramel alcohol hops flavor. Alcohol pretty dominant. Low carbonation, long sugary and sweet aftertaste.

Tasting at Papsø
Hazy dark amber color. The aroma is not very strong, sweet caramel, some alcohol, but also delicate vanilla. Full bodied, with very sweet caramel flavor; correct bitterness, some alcohol warmth (but less evident than the actual content), with the usual, light dusty feeling; the final is getting traces of herbs digestive liquors. Very good.
