Bottled. Deep amber colour, mediumsized creamy beige head, which lasts for quite a while. Aroma is alcohol, mild glue, some sweet malts and fruits. Flavour is rather smilar, but not that offensive. Fullbodied.

330ml bottle at Ørsted Ølbar, thanks to kschep for sharing. Clear dark brown body, bright naked surface. Bready malts and dusty hops to the nose. Raisin and plums in flavour alongside bready malts. Oily palate. Ok sipper, very sweet, though (Copenhagen, 09.05.2012).

25cl bottle @ home [bottle from trade with Fonefan]. Hazy red color with a decent sized off-white to beige head that diminishes quite quickly but leaves a good lacing. Smell sweetness, some malts, some alcohol and dried or overripe fruits. Taste malts, raisin, overripe and dried fruits, lightly grapes, some alcohol. Medium body, low to medium carbo.

Bottle. Near-black, deep brown body with a small off-white head. Aroma is caramel, vanilla pudding, licorice, almonds and hints of burnt sugar and alcohol. Taste is licorice, ashes, burnt caramel and hints of cellar must which really isn’t wearing well on this beer. Soft carbonation, full body. Not too bad, but I’ve had better much barley wines than this for sure.

Hazy brown color, big light brown head. Sweet, licorice, alcohol scent. Very sweet, sugary, alcohol taste. Sugary and some raissin aftertaste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel. Low bitterness.
Even for me a bit too sweet.
