Bottle 330ml.

Clear medium to dark red amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, raisin, wood, light alcohol - resin, light junipeer - bog myrtle. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark fruit - dried fruit - raisin, dry, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. IMO aroma is a bit ruff but flvor is quit nice. [20121107]

Retronasal: fruit upfront, then toffee, sweet, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to full sweet, fruity, a little bit old (2 years). Alcohol feel is quite mild, body is medium, soft carbo. Finish is long, but no new flavors. Quite enjoyable.

Bottled@CPH BF 2013. Deep rubyish amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, mildly alcoholic as well as some slight leathery notes. Flavour is fruity, wooden, alcoholic, some caramel malts and quite sweet alcohol pushing through as well. Yet it’s quite nicely balanced in the flavour.

The taste is dominated with raisins. A little honey or syrup in the background. Good balance between the bitterness and sweetnes. No simple. Would have appreciated more complexity.

Bottle. A small, light beige head forms over a lightly unclear brown body. Caramel, raisins, generic dried fruits, alcohol, piney hops and some meaty maltyness. Lots of raisins in the flavor too, with alcohol, bitterness, pine cones and some meaty maltyness. Some oxidation. Full body, warming and soft on the palate. Lasting finish. Certainly pleasant and tasteful. 130510
