330ml bottle kindly shared by kschep at Ørsted Ølbar & Cafe. Clear ruby dark body. Beige ring of bubbles to the rim of the glass. Prominent aroma of smoked malts. Smoked malts to the taste profile, too, but offset by dried fruits and mid-sweet malts. Warming alcohol to the long-lived ending. Good sipper (Copenhagen, 09.05.2012).

Bottle 330ml @ Geokkjer
Pours hazy deep amber/brown with no head. Aroma has notes of peated whisky, malt and dried fruits. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long peated whiskey and sweet malty finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. A rather flat one, some beige bubbles around the rim only. Unclear, dark amber body. Quite peated nose, with dried fruits, caramel, and some alcohol. Quite peaty flavor, tending towards bonfire, with dried fruits and some caramel. Full-bodied, quite flat and warming. There’s some bitterness towards the end. Well, to me it’s too peated and bonfire-like, and also too boozy, drinkable though. 120516

Bottle 330ml.

Light unclear medium to light dark orange amber colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, cane sugar, wood, smoke - peat, cask wood. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, smoke, medicine, cane sugar. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. IMO a bit simple .. [20120313]

Bottled at Linköping Beer Expo. Clear mahogany colour, no head. Smokey tarry whisky aroma - like Illeach. Sweet and full bodied. Meaty, sugary malt, loads of peaty smoke. Light ashy warming finish. Concentrated flavours, but too sweet.

33cl bottle from trade with Fonefan, shared with Joes. Clear dark amber / dark red color, small off-white head that disappears quickly. Smells like paint, the fingerpaint you used as a kid, definitely barrel aged. Taste wood, very sweet, malts. Soft carbonation especially considering 10% ABV, medium body.
