Dark brown color, light brown head. Aroma of whiskey, bourbon, brulee sugar top, oak. Nice whiskey flavor up front, caramel malts, some roasted malt, this beer leans towards a sweeter porter type beer. Good.

25 cl bottle @ Gastropub Nordic. Rated on 20.11.2010
Aroma is sweetish with malt, caramel, toffee and some fruits. Flavour is sweet with whisky and oaky notes, some smoke and vanilla. Also some alcohol notes. Not sure if the original version was better or not.

Dark brown pour, small tan head. Malty and Roasty aroma. Taste is like an imperial stout or porter versus a barley wine with coffee notes and roasted malts overall. Good Stuff.

Gedronken met dutchdrebus en benzai. Ruikt heel zoet, stroperig, donkerbruin tot pikzwart. Cremekleurige schuimkraag. Smaakt te sterk, bitter, chemisch, koffie, mokka.

23-JUN-2012, bottle @Ulkløbben sommerfest, @Henrik, brought by Henrikl. Black with low tan head. Bourbon aroma with vanilla and oak. Peppery, roasted taste. Low carbonation and some alcohol but all that works fine anyway. Fantastic complex barrel aromas - better than taste. Lovely brew.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2013 25cl bottle shared by Dutchdrebus. Very dark brown to black color, small light brown head that leaves a slight lacing. Smell malts, wood, oak, slightly roasty, toast, hint of burned wood. Taste malts, alcohol, slightly wood, oak, toast. Aroma surpasses the taste. Expected the taste to be more complex after smelling it. Medium to full body, slightly oily texture, medium carbo.

Bottle @ home. Pitch brown/black, opaque colour with little to no head (beige). Smells like the tactical nuclear pinguin, caramel, round, very sweet, siruppy, wood, cognac, almonds. Tastes coffee, sweet, roasty, round, oak, caramel, raisins and deep. Complex beer with lots of great tastes. Full body, low carbo.

_angst_ (4556) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 4, 2011
Sampled @ SBWF on September 29. Pours amber with no head. Very viscous. Smell is sweet and malty with a smoked feel to it. Reminds me of the smell of an Islay Whisky. Taste is very sweet and sticky with honey, oak, peat and some smoke. Aftertaste is rather dry and pleasant. Very intense and nice but perhaps a bit too sweet.
