"Rena Birkebeiner Pils" Look; white chalk head and hazy dirty-yellow body, random lacing dots. Aroma; citrus, dust, floral perfume, pale malts. Taste; lemon, grass, lemony malts - leading to a lemonadeish finish. Soft texture and carbonation. Overall too much lemon in this one, close to being a lemon fruit beer. But it may wipe out corona at any occasion. Not worth the money though. [50cl brown swing-top-btl 4.7%abv BB16-02-2016 8€ B@Eurospar Matservice Langnes Tromsø NO, T@Home]

Strågult og grumsete. med lavt skum som forsvinner fort. svak duft av gress. Frisk, men svak smak. Friskt og lettdrikkelig øl med svake smaker.

On bottle from Meny Vollebekk. Pale golden color, some foam( not much) low carbonation. Aromas of boiled vegetables, some fruitiness. And light hops- but also some " strange slightly unpleasant aromas". Light body & complexity. Ok bitterness. Not impressive

Gul klar i fargen med tynt hvitt skum. Malt og kornlukt. Lett, lite smak litt søtlig malt er det eneste. Daff, skuffende øl. Flaske og etikett trekker opp.

33cl bottle from Meny Ringnes park. Pours clear golden with a white head. BB date is October 2013, but it smells old and unfresh. I’ve tried this several times before, but not in the last couple of years. This one is far from how I remember it, no longer a refreshing and hoppy pilsner, but it probably infected like other reviewers are writing about. Overripe or slightly rotten apples is the aroma with notes of malt and vinegar. Slightly sour, hints of bitterness and actually quite unpleasant. It used to be a nice summer beer, and I still hope to try a bottle like that again. Will happily re-rate then.
