Black Time 1 is a nice black stout with light brown and chunky foam. It has lovely flavors of dark bitter chocolate, light coffee notes and towards the end a distinct flavor of fennel. A little vanilla sneaks in between, but it is fennel as the most indulgent spice. It is certainly lovely, delicate and very well-brewed,

Bottle. A dark brown beer, unclear, and topped by a small, dense, tan head. The aroma has licorice, some roasted malts and dried fruits. Hints of alcohol. There’s a nice bitterness in the flavor, along with licorice, roasted malts and dried fruits. Some alcohol warmth on the palate, more or less full bodied. Licorice and bitterness in the end. A quite pleasant one, although a tad too warming. 120525

Black beer, no surprise there. Chocolate and salt aroma. Salt liquorice flavour, warming alcohol. Bitter finish. Not quite there, but it is supposed to be an experiment.
