Bottle shared at Øltorget Mathallen, march 5th 2013. Black body with a low dark brown head. Malty aroma with licorice, roasted malt and chocolate. Simple and robust. Sweet malty taste, with coffee, licorice, red fruit and a bit chocolate. Bittersweet palate, light alcohol aftertaste and leaving a good roasty finish in the mouth.

Black of color with a brown head. An aroma of liqurice, sweets, spice, oily, prunes and dark chocolate. A flavor of roasted malt, liqurice, sweets, prunes, spice and a dry roasted finish.

Bottle. It’s an unclear one, dark brown in color and topped by a small, dense, tan head. Some roasted notes in the aroma, as well as dried fruits and a healthy dose of licorice. As for the aroma, the flavor of the BT3 has more licorice than the BT1, but the amounts of roasted malts and dried fruits seems quite similar. Even though it’s slightly stronger, it doesn’t feel more warming and alcoholic, guess the slightly fuller body helps. Bitter finish with licorice. A soft and pleasant beer, but a bit too warming. 120525

Bottled. Black colour with a good initial formation of a tan head that quickly diminishes. Aroma is toasty, chocolate, vanilla and cocoa. Flavor has notes of chocolate, black coffee, slightly caramel, berries, ripe fruit and toasted malts. Smooth on palate, creamy and moderate dense. Black coffee final.

Pour dark black with little tan head. low carb. Aroma sweet malty snd bourbony hints of liqourice. Tastes strong of dark malts, caramelization and dark berries. Smooth character of liquorice. Well recommenderd ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml bottle. Pours dark, with nice tan head. Oily texture, average carbonation, medium to full body. Taste is roasty, nuts, malty, some coffee. Enjoyable.

0.33 l bottle from Copenhagen. Black color. Aromas of acrid roast, medicinal licorice and menthol. Sweetish roasty, acrid and bitter flavor with plenty of salty licorice and menthol. Full body but not thick. Better than Black Time 1, but quite heavy on licorice (fennel?).

Sampled at SBWF11 Black. Beige head. Light vinous aroma. Vinous and a bit sourish flavour; chocolate.

Bottle. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, dried fruit, fruit, hop. Flavour is roasted malt, coffee, dried fruit, hop, licorice. Full bodied nice beer.

Round coffee, liquorice/fennel. Silky, but there is an alcohol edge. Well crafted, Det Lille Bryggeri is climbing fast on my list of favourites. Dry cocoa finish.
