Bottled. Pours pitch black with a medium sized tan head. Leaving a fair lacing. Nose of Slightly roasted malt, coffee notes and licorice. Sweet flavor with chocolate, licorice and dark fruit notes. Medium to full bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. Ends up more dry and with alcohol notes. An extraordinary stout.

Post CBC in the Hotel - ’Oh crap I have bought too many bottles again’! The palate feels a bit drier than Black Time 1 but otherwise the flavour is much the same. Mild dark, malts, lacto and licorice.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a creamy beige head.Aroma of caramel,roasted malt, alcohol, licorice and yeast.
Flavor is sweet and roasted with some coffee, licorice, malt, caramel and some bitterness. Medium to full body, soft carbonation.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Dagan’s place. Thanks Pundarquartis for this bottle! Black with a slightly creamy light brown head. Aroma of dark chocolate, a bit of soy sauce and alcohol. Sweetish flavor has a bit of chocolate, roastiness, a bit of soy sauce and a drier alcohol finish. Medium to full-bodied.

Pours a black beer with a brown head. The aroma is malt, roasted, licorice and hops with grass and citrus. The flavor follows the nose with additional alcohol. The palate is dry with sweetness. Overall a good beer.

Draught @ Olfestival 2011 Kobenhavn. Pitch black with tiny brown head. Roasted malt aroma with lots of chocolate, licorice adn some caramel. Sweet malty taste with roasted dry bitter finish. In comparison to the Time 1, it feels a bit stronger and boozier, and licorice is more distinctive..
