Editor’s note: formerly known as "Roskilde Brown Ale Deluxe".

Wanted a dark ale alittle darker ... but damm this pours pitch black like a porter and the chocolate just hits your head like a hammer ...very toasted with a hit og smoked malt and a very potent alcololic after taste of pure porter delight ... the dark mystery i was looking for !!!

Bottle, thanks to kimjohansen. A lot darker pour than I thought with medium beige head. Soapy floral hops, some nutty caramel and roasted malt in the aroma. Flavor is some bitter roasted chocolate, nuts, and sweet malt... very nutty bitter chocolate finish. One of the better brown ales that I have had.

Bottle. High fluffy but lasting light brown head. Very dark brown body. Mild roasted malt aroma with caramel and something I guess comes from the oak. Relatively sour flavor with caramel and butter and again a spicy note that I cannot quite figure out. Low carbonation, long aftertaste.
