Bottle, at Ølfestival 2012. A black beer, looking gorgeous with its dense, tan head. Chocolate, some coffee and a touch of roasted malts on the nose. It’s very chocolatey in the flavor, with cocoa, some coffee and roasted malts. Dry, full-bodied and still quite sweetish on the palate, finishing mostly on the chocolate side. A one dimensional but pleasant beer. 120512

330 ml bottle. Thanks Timo A.
Pours a pitch black colour without a head. Aroma of strong dark chocolate and some roastiness. Overall very rich on the nose. Flavour of roasted malts, dark chocolate, grassy hops and some earthy notes. Medium bodied, oily mouthfeel and a roasty, oily, chocolate finish. Very well balanced, surprisingly rich and overall a solid porter.
