COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: formerly known as "Roskilde Columbus Ale".

Bottle@mallaskukko. Deep amber hazy. Super dank nose. Hop pellets, herby pungent citrus, some caramels in the back. Med bodied, super flavourful. Earthy, dank, herby, citrus. Like getting trapped in a bag of hop pellets. Quite smooth nice though.

Bottle split at Amager Brewery mini tasting, RBESG ’15 day 3, thanks to Papsoe, 22/08/15. Clear golden copper with a well appointed light beige covering that retains well. Nose is caramel malt, sweet fruit notes, toffee, light spice. Taste comprises sweet candied fruits, floral notes, caramel malt, some buttery notes but not in a fucked up diacetyl way. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. So so for style, kind of an old skool IPA, overly sweet and malty for my liking.

Bottle@RBESG2015, Day 3, Copenhagen - fuzzy amber coloured pour with white head. Citrus fruity hoppy and malty aroma and taste, juicy tangerine pine, some caramel , hoppy bitter finish. Nice.

50 cl. bottle at home. Batch RØ 153. Best before May 2012 enjoyed Feb. 2015! Last of three bottles bought at Valhal Beer Festival some years ago. I am not sure it was ever the brewers intention that this Columbus hops bomb was to be cellared for this long, but I must say, it worked for me. The almost aggressive hops this beer had when it was young was now exquisitely counterbalanced by the continued fermentation and "roundnes" brought about with age. Really good when young and for me surprisingly, when older mellow but with the Columbus carachter intact, intertwined with sugary and slightly sherry notes. Great fun as a youngster and the quality stuck as it has matured, though I would suggest any other "keepers" to enjoy it now as I am quite sure that this is as good as it gets!

Pours deep dark red with a semi thick and lasting head. The taste is bitter but eases away and leaves a slight sweet flowery after tase. A good alcohol makes for an effervescent experience. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dry hops aroma. The flavor of nuts, fruits, but are not so overly dry anyway. This beer fit me in taste. The aftertaste is slightly sweet at first but released after a while a little bitter. I liked this beer anyway. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
