COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: formerly known as "Roskilde Columbus Ale".

Bottled. Amber coloured. Unclear. Dsen light brown head. Pine and herbs in the nose (very hoppy). Has light cocoa notes. Flavour is piney, spicy, caramelly and flowery. A bit more balanced and distinct in the flavour. Medium to full bodied. Very dry mouthfeel. Is hervily bitter in the end.

50 cl bottle @ home. Pours murky dark amber with some sediment and a huge off-white head that fades leaving almost no lacing. Aroma is very hoppy with hints of pine, citrus and resin – and also a little malt. Taste is much like the aroma.

Countbeer (1943) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - MAR 25, 2012
Bottle: batch RØ185: Medium white head that changes quick into a thick white lacing on top of a deep hazy orange colored beer. Smell hops, citrus, lemon, oatmeal, creamy malts and something fresh and crispy. Wow very nice taste, first you taste a nice subtle hop mix with fruity touch (citrus, lemon, lime, peach and abricot), with a good bitterness, light yeasty, light grassy, light dry. Than it seems to turn slowly into a more bitter, still fruity, mix with a hint of something caramel/chocolaty and some green grass. The bitterness keeps growing and mows everything subtle dry. Nice bitter hoppy grassy aftertaste. Low to medium carbo, soft creamy mouthfeel, medium to full body and a creamy texture.

A hazy deep amber-colored beer with a huge off white head. Sweet and somewhat perfumed, spicy aroma with fresh and citrusy notes of lime and grapefruit. The taste is hop-dominated, spicy and bitter with a light caramel-malty backbone. Medium body and a longlasting solid bitter finish. A delicious, fresh and well hopped IPA.
