Bottle 50cl.
Clear medium to dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lancing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, licorice. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (170508)

An opaque hazy brown beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet spicy with hints of cloves and berries. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of berries - black currant, but also with a hints of acidity. The end is dry with the sweet berries lingering. The mouthfeel is sticky. In my opinion it lacks hops.

(On tap) Unclear brown colour with an underlying orangey glow. Small, off-white head. Roasted, lightly burned aroma. Lots of roasted malt, but very dry with a light bitter finish. Not really an impressive effort. 291005

Bottled@Gastropub Nordic, Tampere. Very deep ambery brown colour, mediumsized beige creamy longlasting head. Aroma is nutty, caramelly, mildly earthy and some quite strong fruityness as well. Flavour is rather fruity and hoppy along with some earthy, herbal and mildly caramelly notes. Also some berries and mildly liquorice like notes. Mild resiny notes as well. Not that carbonated while drinking, but feels like it’s foaming quite much on it’s way down... And stomach feels like gas needs to be released as well .) Anyhow, a nice and balanced brew. A strong session beer.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2007 Draught (as Roskilde Premiere Dark Ale). Weak strawberry aroma. Dark chestnut colour. Small head. Quite malty and a little roasted. Citric flavour.

KØ07. Good roasted aroma, quite nice. Very nice sweet flavour, hint of good, fruity roastedness. Nice, nutty, roasted malt flavour. A lot better than the first version.

Cloudy dark brown color; creamy head. It has a quite nice malt and chocolate aroma. Good body, good chocolate and malt flavor. A sweet Imperial Stout, not complex, but easy to drink.
