Det Lille Bryggeri Dark Ale

A really nice beer, taste on bottle. Nice dark colour. Good balance between malt and hops. Nice aroma and a good body.

Dark red-brown colored with huge light brown head. Spicy and yeasty aroma with dominating hops, flowery amd licoricy notes also present. Interesting aroma with Yankee tones and licorice. Medium bodied. Flavor is more caramelly and flowery with fine hops. Dries with strong American hops and flowers, excellent aftertaste. Slightly unbalanced with strong aftertaste, still excellent beer.

bottle at Københavnske Øldage 2009 dark, almost black thick yellow head. mild aroma, licorice. flavor is licorice, roasted sutff, ample sugary sweetness, well crafted, well balanced.

Bottle at home. Dark chokolate brown - light brown head. Chokolate, dark bread, caramel, licorice, fruity, yeasty, sharp, licorice, apple, hoppy, bitterness, berries, apple, pear, spicy, roasted. Nice big body. High carbonated.

Bottle at Ølfestival 2008, Århus
Cloudy dark brown color; creamy head. It has a quite nice malt and chocolate aroma. Good body, good chocolate and malt flavor. A sweet Imperial Stout, not complex, but easy to drink.

Bottled@ Aarhus beerfestival 2008. Aroma is quite fruity with prunes and strawberry. Some licorice. Clear, dark coloured with an off-white head. Taste is sweet has some roqsty bitterness, some coffee, licorice and prunes. Nice beer.

Sample at Copenhagen beerfestival. Medium head with medium duration. Color is dakr amber. Aroma and taste are roast malt, caramel and licorice.

Bottled @ Aarhus beerfestival 2008. Dark color. Aroma of strawberry yoghurt. Taste also has it, but combined with dark bitter malts. Quite sweet.
