Bottle. Low white lasting fluffy head. Hazy dark brown body. Mild malty aroma. Very good balance with a mild malt base, sweet liquorice at first and a fair amount of chili at the finish. Relatively sweet with little hops bitterness. The taste of chili stays for quite some time.

Botella from Bagsværd Vinhandel. Unclear nice amber colour with a big creamy beige head, leaving a good lacing, really nice. Aroma of toasty malt, caramel and a licorice with alcohol, peppery / chili in the finish. Good mouthfeel. Flavour has toasty malt and licorice, caramel, spice like and a good chili scratchy towards the finish... continues, light spice "burning" tickle. Nice!

Sample at SBWF 2012. Hazy dark amber with a small white head. First licorice then chili, thats about it. A rather interesting beer but it felt unbalanced.

Pours cloudy copper with a beige head.Aroma is malt, liquorish and green pepper. Flavour is malt, liquorish and burning chili.

Pours a muddy and brown beer with a beige head. The aroma is malt, caramel, green pepper and yeast. The flavor follows the nose with additional licorice and chilli. The palate is sweetness with warmth from the chilli. Overall an average beer.

# 3105 ersma: die brauerei schmeißt lustige sachen in die biere, das gefällt mir. wuuuusch macht beim öffnen der flasche. nach dem auffeudeln steht noch etwas bräunlich-opakes bier im glas. für den vielen schaum, der aus der flasche quoll, ist nun doch eher wenig oben drauf. der geruch ist süßlich mit lakritznote und trockenpflaume sowie karamell. der antrunk ist süßlich, malzig mit deutlicher lakritznote. dann kommt chili hinzu, jedoch nicht übertrieben viel. zur mitte wird die schärfe allerdings ausgeprägter und übertüncht die lakritz-aromen und die karamellsüße. der abgang ist scharf mit süßlich-lakritzigem hintergrund. hopfen sollte auch noch irgendwo sein, fällt aber hinter der schärfe nicht weiter auf. die flasche ist ok. fazit: die schärfe könnte dezenter sein, allerdings nennt sich das ganze ja „double chili“. spannend ists auf jeden fall. 10,10,10,8,12,9 - 9,40 - 10/7/12

Unclear medium amber - orange red colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, caramel, berry - dried berry. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, sweet licorice, caramel, english licorice, salty licorice, chili notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120606]

Bottle @ Odense Tasting, July 2012. Maad gusher. Pours muddy brown with bubbles on top. Extremely yeasty and phenolic. Spicy chili with a touch of liquorice. Warmth. Slight tart edge. Halfway infected.

Markhaven Summer Fun 2012. Gusher. Cloudy dark amber with a small off-white head. Pretty blatant aroma of green pepper, chili and sweet licorice. Very sweet licorice flavour, quickly overtaken by hot chili. Unbalanced.

Bottle, bought @ LIVA, Kolding. Pours murky amber, medium frothy off-white head. Aroma has caramel, Red apple, softly herbal, a bit nutty. Medium carbonation, dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has lots of liqourice, caramel sweetness, a firm, sharp herbal chili. Lingering light burning finish.
