Bottled@CPH BF 2013. Black colour, not much of a head. Aroma is liquorice, chocolate, some slight chili and mild nuttyness. Flavour is liquorice, mild chocolate, some roasted and ashy notes along with a slight spicyness. The chili just gives a mellow touch to the beer, but gives a nice slight burn in the aftertaste.

JanLaursen (3063) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 19, 2013
Sample at Ølfestival, tap 1, 2013. Pitch, no head. Impurities. Sweet nutty and roasted nose, liquorice, chocolate, slightly herbal. Flavor is sweet roasted, smooth texture, light ashy, with a bitter finish and rather bland chili bite. Probably a plain thai chili, as it doesn’t really add any taste, just a bite.

Bottle. Pours black with fast disappearing brown head and loads of floaties that stays at the top of the beer. Looks like puke! Roasted malty aroma with notes of chili and chocolate. The flavor is roasted with lighter notes of chocolate and the chili burns light on the tongue. Good hoppy bite as well. The floaties are noticeable in the palate.
