Bottle, at Ølfestival 2012. A minimal sized beige head sits on top of an unclear, dark golden body. The aroma has caramel notes, hints of anise, and a solid dose of grapefruit. Some anise notes in the flavor too, caramel maltyness as a foundation for the grapefruity and lightly piney hops. Could use a bit more bitterness I think. Medium body, dry, and with a pleasant level of carbonation. A pleasant beer, but it should have more bitterness. 120512

Dryish roasty toffee aftertaste with chocolatey earthy notes. Nice, drinkable, interesting. (0.33l bottle, from Kihoskh, Copenhagen.)
