COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish. Hoppy Time serien er lavet med samme mængde råvarer men er henholdsvis kogt 1 time, 4 timer og 8 timer. Denne forskel i kogningen har betydning på smagen m.m. Hoppy Time er som navnet siger en bitter øl.

# 3092 ersma: das bier gibts als 1 time, 4 time und 8 time. was da mit dem hopfen 1, 4, oder 8 x passiert, entzieht sich leider meiner dänischkenntnisse. soweit ich es verstehe, wird bei diesem bier acht mal hopfen gegeben. aber ob die achtfache menge beim nachhopfen oder acht hopfengaben beim brauen? jedenfalls hat es 73,2 (!) ibu. korinthenkacker. komma zwei... dunkel rubinfarben mit mittelviel schaum, der mäßig stabil ist. der geruch ist röstmalzig und süßlich. aromen von melasse, kräutern, zedernholz. der antrunk ist leicht bitter und süßlich, beeren, karamell, kräuter. die mitte wird bitterer bei gleichen aromen. zum ende hin ist es recht herb-bitter, aber nicht unangenehm. die süßlichen aromen bleiben im hintergrund vorhanden. flasche: wie immer nett. hier mit einem zifferblatt, das vier nach sechs zeigt. fazit: sehr angenehm, auch wenn man nicht so genau weiß, was das ganze sein soll. 10,11,11,10,12,11 - 10,80 - 4/7/12

Deep ruby red with a big, off-white frothy head. Aroma is sweet and resiny on top of light toasted caramel. A bit of grapefruit and red apples. Medium carbonation, creamy and light fat mouthfeel. Some dryness. Flavour is bitter, toasted caramel, light Belgian sugar, muscovado, liqourice. Lingering, dense bitterness with piney and grapefruity notes. Fine.

Sampled at DØE Beerfestival 2012, TAP1. Pours a clear and brown beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt, caramel and soap. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is sweetness and some bitterness. Overall an average beer.

CBF 2012: Amber coloured and unclear. Has an off-white head, medium duration. Aroma is heavy hoppy, herbal, faint malty notes too. Flavor starts moderate sweet, finish heavy bitter. Syrupy texture and soft carbonation.
