Bottle 330ml.

Clear medium to dark brown red colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, nutty, syrup. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120606]

Bottled. A dark red beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, bread, caramel, and spices, as well as hints of smoke, leading to a dry spicy finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted dark malty. Roasted dark malty, yeasty and light caramelish. Bitter and dark roasted finish. Dark malty finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear orangey brown with a creamy beige head. Sweet fruity bonbonish nose with a roasty edge. Medium body, dry roast, some licorice, a little spice and a dry finish. Really like the dryness and roast combined. 230112

Bottle. Pours a brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel aroma. Slightly roasted malty spicy caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty spicy caramel finish.

Bottle @ Odense Tasting Januar, 2012. Pours cloudy brown with a bubbly white head on top. Sweet nose and flavor. Caramel, nuts, bread, weak spices and liquorice. Medium bodied. Tasty.

Bottle at home. Clear very dark brown - offwhite head. Roasted, light spicy, licorice, anis, roasted, nutty, chocolate, nice malty, licorice notes, dark bread, ok hoppy - bitterness.

Botella. Dark brown colour, beige head. Pleasant aroma of dark malts, spice (mainly anise), dark fruit and bit chocolate. Good mouthfeel. Flavour has a pleasant dark maltiness and dark fruitiness with spice (anise mainly), some chocolate and a pleasant soft bitterness.

Pours deep ruby red with a big, staying, creamy, beige head. Aroma has chocolate, fat maltiness, some prunes, grainy, mild Belgian sugar, hazelnuts in doses. Medium carbonation, mild mouthfeel, good dryness. Flavour is dry, good coriander, grainy chocolate. Some lingering sweetish caramel. Good hazelnuts flavour. Lovely beer.

Odense New Year tasting. Cloudy brown with a small off-white head. Fruity and malty aroma with a nutty touch. Sweetish fruity flavour with dried fruits and a touch of brown sugar.
