Bottle. Creamy off-white excellent fully lasting head. Dark red-amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Nutty notes. Heavy bitter wonderfull flavor. Long moderate bitter finish.Creamy palate. Excellent beer.

Bottle. Dark brown almost reddish beer with a offwhite/beige head. Licorice, spicy and coffee aroma. Similar flavour. A nice christmasbeer :-)

Pours deep ruby red with a big, staying, creamy, beige head. Aroma has chocolate, fat maltiness, some prunes, grainy, mild Belgian sugar, hazelnuts in doses. Medium carbonation, mild mouthfeel, good dryness. Flavour is dry, good coriander, grainy chocolate. Some lingering sweetish caramel. Good hazelnuts flavour. Lovely beer.

330 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård. ABV is 6.5%. Beautiful deep reddish brown colour, large beige head. Nice and medium sweetish aroma of hazelnuts, caramel, malt sugar and chocolate. Sweet and distinctly nutty flavour, also distinct notes of caramel and chocolate, hints of spices. Moderate hops in the finish. Would buy again.

Bottle. Hazy amber/copper beer with a small beige head. Chocolate aroma, cocoa powder, licorice, a bit roasted, fruity notes, a little vinous, dark bread, raisins, some figs. Malty fruity flavor, cocoa powder, some nicely balanced spices, chocolate, figs, roasted, some hoppy bitterness bringing balance. Nice body and with a quite nice chocolate finish, some raisins and cocoa powder.

Medium beige head. Hazy reddish brown body with floaties. Roasty chocolatey spicy aroma with nutty marzipan notes. Dry-sweet roasty licorice taste with resiny fruity earthy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, smooth mouthfeel, slight slick. Dryish roasty resiny chocolatey aftertaste with earthy licorice and spice notes. Balanced, harmonic, full-flavoured, and really interesting. A great beer. DArk ruby. Sweet, spicy. Vanilla and cinnamon. Very pleasant balance. Fruit, nuts, roasted grain, Christmas pudding.

500ml bottle kindly shared by KnutAlbert at Schouskjelleren. Near clear, mahogany coloured body. Patchy surface. Aroma of bittersweet malts. Spiced dark fruits in the flavour character joined by a pleasant roastiness. Smooth malty-fruity ending. Fine Yuletide feel (Oslo, 10.12.2012).

Bottle @ Odense Tasting Januar, 2012. Pours cloudy brown with a bubbly white head on top. Sweet nose and flavor. Caramel, nuts, bread, weak spices and liquorice. Medium bodied. Tasty.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a medium light tan head. The aroma is toasted malt, tobacco and some chocolate. Sweet roasted notes. The flavour is sweet roasted with notes of tobacco and some dark fruit. Sweet toasted finish.
