Bottle 500ml.

[ Trade by Ungstrup ]. Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, light to moderate hoppy, wood - bog myrtle. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate, , wood - bog myrtle. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120229]

Bottle at Ungstrup. Clear orange-brown coloured with a medium sized beige head. Sweet aroma of caramel, liquorice and sweet gale. Sweet flavour of caramel, liquorice, sweet gale, spices and hops. Spicy finish.

Bottled. A red-brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of malt, herbs, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, bread, and liquorice, leading to a dry spicy finish. A bit odd.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a clear reddish amber with a rich creamy head leaving quite some lacework. Sweet caramellish aroma, walnuts. Medium body, burned caramel and subtle roast, a whiff of licorice while the sweet gale doesn’t really come through. Very smooth mouthfeel and very pleasant drinking actually. 290212

cloudy dark brown, smooth offwhite to light brown head. malty, roasted malty aroma, slightly spicy, slightyl boozy. ’flavor is bitter honey, roasted malts, spices, herbs. honey is quite prominent.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity, pine and toasted dark malty. Toasted malty, light spiced and dry caramelish. Mild liqourice note. Smooth dark malty and light spiced finish.

Nice-looking clear chestnut with a medium, frothy, off-white head. Aroma has milky chocolate, clear bog myrtle, some juniper-like pepper spiciness, birch leaves, caramel. Medium carbonation, fine dryish and fairly light palate. Flavour has lots of dry bog myrtle, caramel, dry herbal, juniper, grassy hops. Light roasted malts, liqourice root, chocolate. Very dry finish. A really fine spice beer.

Bottle as 7.1% abv. Pours dark brown with a medium craemy tan head. The aroma is highly malty with notes of caramel, dark fruit and honey. The flavour is light roasted with notes of caramel, fruit and honey.

Brown color with a medium white head. Aroma is sweet and toasty with smoke and slight sourness. Taste is sweet with soft roasted malt and caramel. Bittersweet finish.
