Bottle, bought @ Barleywine, Cph.
Pours clear amber with a medium, staying, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is vinious, lots of apples, resiny, oak, light peppery, oranges. Medium carbonation, very dry and quite oily mouthfeel. Flavour has fine maltiness, doughy, some fruity tart oakiness. Quite bitter resiny, lots of apple notes. Fine, but not fantastic.

Bottle at Valhal 2013. Hazy orange colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour of hops, fruit, malt, vanilla and woody notes.

Bottle. Low fluffy white and quickly disappearing head. Clear amber body. Mild apple malt aroma. Distinct apple malt flavor with hints of wood and vanilla. Low carbonation. Long spicy apple finish.

Bottle at Valhal Beerfest 2013. Clear golden/amber - white head. Sweetness, toasted, knækbrød, minerals, apple brandy, fruity, ok hoppy, not that bitter, dark fruits, oakey, vanilla. Smooth.

Botella, thanks to yespr. Hazy to cloudy nice orange colour. sweet hoppy fruity woody calvados dark fruity aroma, nice. Good mouthfeel. Pleasantly sweet hoppy fruity woody calvados flavour with dark fruit. Well balanced. Nice indeed.

shared by yespr. cloudy orange, smooth white head. very nice flowery hoppy aroma, wood, bourbon. flavor is hoppy, wood, sweet malty, falint yellow fruity, quite strong flavor for a 6.9%. ends woody.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt, citrusy hops, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, calvados, citrusy hops, and malt, leading to a dry alocholic finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy deep golden with a dense white head with good retention leaving a discreet lacework. Sweet perfumy nose, lovely barrel character, quite some alcohol. Rich body, lots of sweet fruit, nice rounded barrel character, again a little perfumy. 301012

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, apples to wineous. Grapefruity hoppy. Sweet, caramelish, solid hoppy and smooth fruity. Mellow apples and grapefruity into the finish.
