Bottle at København ØLfestival 2011. Pitch black - brown head. Nice hoppy, high malty, grassy, bitterness, smokey, licorice, classic american imperial stout - but a bit simple.

Pours a pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma is malt, roasted, licorice and chocolate. The flavor follows the nose with additional spices and some acidity. The palate is sweetness and roasted. Overall this is a good beer.

Pours black with a light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate and liuorish. Flavour is roasted malt, malt acidic, chocolate, liquorish and light sweet notes.

Bottle. Pours black with a dark brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, caramel and licorice. Flavor is sweet and roasted malt, caramel, licorice and coffee. Medium to full body, average carbonation.

@ Copenhagen festival 2011. The aroma has roasted malts, chocolate, some coffee. Black coloured beer with no head. The taste is sweet, light bitter has chocolate, roast, some vanilla, some spice. Nice one.

Sampled at SB & WF 2011. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Smells smoky and tar. Tastes smoky, soy and tar with a similar finish.

Sample @ SBWF 2011. Pours pitch black with a small bubbly tanned head. Aroma is well roasted malty some chocolate and some licorice. Flavor is roasted sweetish chocolate coffee and dark fruits with nice bitter tones. Finishes malty bitter with nice touch of alcohol.

Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival 2011. Black beer, small head. Tar aroma, peat, grass and smoke. Smoked flavor, tar, peat, hoppy, bitter, smoked fish. Rather demanding, but nice once you get used to it.

Black with a dark brown head. Aroma heavy malty (roasted, burnt), moderate+ hoppy. Flavor moderate+ sweet and bitter, more on the edge, but well balanced. Full body, some alcohol felt. Very nice!
