COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Cloudy orange-brown colour, murky brown when the sediment is poured in. Moderate off-white head. Aroma of fruity, floral and piney American hops. Distinct hoppy flavour, piney, resinous and fruity, not too sharp. Quite decent. Original rating: At Copenhagen Beer Festival. Amber colour. Moderate aroma of American hops. Medium sweet flavour with distinct notes of American hops, becoming rather sharp in the finish. A fairly decent IPA.

Bottle at Olympen. Golden clear, thin white head. Smells of citrus, zests and grass. Taste is malty with good sweetness. Also hints of citrus acids. Finish is pretty hoppy and adds good bitterness with much grapefruit and grass.

Huge yellowish head, very stable and lacey, over orange to light-amber beer. Aromatic, fruity C-hops with lytchee, rosewater, passion fruit and ureum; even some vegetable frying oil, oily cheese. Bitter/sweetish hops with lots of fruity esters & flavours - again lytchee, grapefruit. Flavours converge in the finish, good balance. Quite well-bodied beer suggesting more strength than it has. Spritzy, just a tad too oily to be refreshing. Nice IPA, powerful, but the nose could have been more revealing

500 ml bottle @ Olutravintola Pannuhuone. Rated @ 24.6.2010.
Pours an orange colour with a frothy white head. A bit weak but hop-driven aroma of fresh hops, caramel malts and lemon. Hops come through in the flavour with citrus notes. Medium bodied and a slick mouthfeel. Dry and bitter finish. Decent IPA.

Bottle @ Olutravintola Kukko, Kemi. Opaque dark orange beer with white head. Very hoppy aroma and taste aswell. Quite typical "quality IPA" with a good malty body and nice full bitterness.

Huge offwhite coarseish head. Amber body with small particles. Resiny oily tropical fruit and peaches aroma with smoky dusty notes. Dry-sweetish fruity ashy resiny oily taste. Sharpish, prickly mouthfeel. Full-bodied. Dry, somewhat harsh, bitter overripe fruit and chalk aftertaste with lingering ashy wooden notes. Feels like a slight infection. Should rerate. (0.5l bottle, dunno where from. Batch RØ84.)
