COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

One of the best IPA with low alcohol. Lots of hops of course notes of orange, fruigt, very well balanced thanks to the malt, with good body. Still easy to drink, so you can enjoy the beer all night.

Bottle @ Kolding Ølmesse 2009.
Pours muddy pale orange with a small, creamy, off-white head. Fine, sweetish hops aroma, lightly fruity and some fine caramel behind it. Fine mouthfeel, pleasantly dry. Flavour is dry and hoppy, some pine and fruitiness. Very dry in the long, lingering finish. Nice.

Bottle, bought @ Kolding Vinhandel.
Pours lightly hazy golden amber with a stunning, very dense creamy white head - really beautiful. Aroma is hoppy (surprise!), mostly fruity hops and pine. A light touch of caramel behind it. It is not as powerful as I’d hoped, though. Super mouthfeel, very dry finish. Flavour is dry hops, very light maltiness. The pine hops dominate the fruity ones. I’d probably prefer it the other way around. Still, this is a good, very bitter, American-style IPA.

50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Dry simcoe-ish aroma. Flavour is also quite dry yet refreshing hops fruity too. Quite minor malt presence and distinct dominant hops flavour and bitterness. Dry and bitter into the far finish. Good brew.

CBF07 sample from bottle. Pours amber brown. Aroma is hoppy, floral and a bit malty. Flavour is soft malty with a bitter floral hops edge. Soft malty finish without getting too sweet.

It’s slightly hazy, dark orange with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of hops, spruce and sweet caramel. The flavour has a nice bitterness, some caramel sweetness, notes of resin and citrus. I had it right after Haandbryggeriet Dobbel Dose, and compared to that, this one seems a bit edgy, and it’s like the bitterness isn’t perfectly balanced.

Bottle. Dark amber, thick light beige head. Fruity aroma with caramel malts and a bit stuffy yeast. Some blue cheese too. Flavor is caramel malts and simple fruity hops, clean bitter finish. Easily drinkable. Very typical, average nordic IPA, doesn’t give me any chills.
