Pours reddish orange with a medium light brown head. Light aroma of malts, spices and cardboard. Taste is slightly malty with notes of licorice, fruits and spices. Finish is bready and malty. Decent, tastes slightly old.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - Batch RØ132 - ABV 7.5 %, at Pikkulintu, 20111209) The beer poured brown and quite clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had caramell, malts and Belgian style yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, Belgian style yeast, malts, dark fruits, caramell and bitterness. Aftertaste had malts, dark fruits and bitterness. An average Belgian style beer with a bit more forward maltiness.

Würziger, sehr intensiver Antrunk mit leichten Kräuter- und Fruchtnoten. Vollmundig bleibend, die Aromen überschlagen sich fast. Leicht nach Pflaume und vergoren Bananig, eine leichte Rauchnote ist zu erkennen. Dahinter trocken schokoladig, sehr, fast zu würzig. Zum Ende spannend nach Schokolade, auch hier deutlich nach Kräutern und allerlei Gewürzen. Gutes, aber fast überladenes Bier. 9/12/11/12/8/12

Copper color, small beige head. Bready, slightly toasted aroma. Medium-bodied. Front is quite alcoholic. Flavor has Malt liquerish fruityness, bread with some caramel. Suprisingly quite offensive and strong brew.

Draft @ Ølbaren, Copenhagen. Pours a hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty aroma. Sweetish malty spicy yeasty flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty finish with some hints of caramel.

Bottled. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is caramel, alcohol, some mild spices as well as some fruits and mild toffee. Flavour is spices, caramel, toffee, grassyness and mild alcohol. A rather pleasantly balanced Xmas brew.
