COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle at home, gift from @Meilby. Thanks! Being fairly sensitive on the spices contained in this beer I was a bit apprehensive to begin with. Poured a dark brown with no head. The nose had cloves, cinnamon, something sweet and pepper. The tasting lead to a numb tongue and a feeling that the beer had smoke in it. I was on the fence for some time, but concluded with a fairly low score. Would like to taste and re-rate some other time with more experience.

Bottle. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel and spices. The taste is of roasted malt, caramel, spices, licorice and pepper. Sweet and malty with a bit of alcohol in the finish. Not bad but would probably have been a bit better without the spices. ;-)

Don’t put christmas spices in my beer, please! Dark brown, almost black. Sweet, roasted aroma with notes of spice, sharp, bad medicine. Flavor starts sweet, more spicy notes. Moderate bitter finish.

Flaska från SB. Julöl 2013 i lokala sortimentet.
