COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottled (thanks Papsoe!). Quite much black colour, small off-white head. Aroma is sweet riped fruits, some caramel, roasted malts, ashes and mild wooden notes. Flavour is dark dry fruits, some mild toffee, caramel and mild roasted notes. Also some slight coffeeish and spicy notes.

Bottled 500ml (BB 06/2010)
Opaque black color, steady beige creamy head. Roasted malty aroma, licorice, soya sauce. Medium-bodied. Flavor is similar to nose: roasted with licorice and soya but also some Christmasy spices. Nice Xmas porter, aged gently.

Black pour. Thick, tan head that is slow to fall. Thick layers of lacing. Spicy pumpkin pie aroma. Spicy taste, roasty, a little bitter. Medium-bodied. Not too shabby.

Bottle at Årets Fnug 2011. Black with a light brown head. Aroma moderate+ malty (roasted, burnt with some X-mas spices). Flavor moderate bitter and spicy. Almost full body. To much Christmas for me.

50cl Bottle from Kihoskh. ABV 7.7%. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, cinnamon, light cardamon, mace, hint of clove. Flavour is sweet, roasted malts, chocolate and above mentioned spices, along with a hint of pepper, roasted finish, slightly alcoholic. Medium bodied. Nice Christmas brew.

26-NOV-2011, bottle @home, from "Barleywine". Dark, dark brown with lasting fine brown high head. X-mas nose with the usual stuff, cinnamon, clove. Taste the same with some brown sugar and a litte roasted malts. Overall not os much an imperial porter. Anyway a nice X-mas brew, although the spices are a bit overdone.

Bottle. Pours a black beer with a light brown head. The aroma is malt, sweetness and spices with cloves, cinnamon and cardamom. The flavor is following the nose closely. The palate is sweetness. Overall this beer has too much spices.

Black beer with a creamy brown disappearing head. Aroma of liquor, caramel and chocolate. Chocolate and caramel in the mouth. Sweetish and at the end alcohol popps up.
