Bottle. Very dark brown with big foamy beige head. Aroma is roasted malts and liquorice. Flavour is roasted malts, strong liquorice, little coffee, chocolate, bitter, little burned and medium sweet.

Black with a dark brown head. Aroma heavy malty (roasted, burnt) and lot’s of licorice. Heavy sweet, but well balanced with hops. Medium body. Nice.

Pours pitch black color with small beige head. Aroma of distinct liquorice, toasted malts, some salty chocolate and mild salmiac. Flavor of salty liquorice, toasted malts, mild caramel and toffee notes and dark berry notes. Smooth palate with a long liquorice aftertaste. Very nice.

Aroma has, surprisingly, lots of fresh licorice. Also hints of coffee. Flavour has lots of semi-salty licorice and roasted malt. Very nice stuff, especially when looking at the ABV.

Bottle.....It pours pitch black with a medium light tan head.... The aroma is roasted malt, licorice and coffee...... The flavor is loaded licorice, anise, roasted malt and light smoke.....

Bottle shared at a tasting at Rotem’s place. Thanks a lot Pundarquartis for this bottle! Very dark brown with a big bubbly light brown head. Nice roasty aroma. Bittersweet roasty flavor with chocolate, a hint of licorice and a pleasant bitter finish with some hops. Medium-bodied. A good Porter.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Rotem’s place. Thanks DSG. Pours dark brown, opaque, tan head. Malt and liquorice aroma and some chocolate as well. Tastes bitter and a little dry. Full body, well carbonated, long finish. Nice.

Linköping Beer Expo 2012. Bottle. Black color, nice brown head. Licorice aroma, vinous notes, cocoa, chocolate, milk, figs. Malty flavor, licorice, cocoa, hop notes, rather roasted. Smooth and balanced. Well done.

Large and lasting head., black. sweet liquorice nose, elegant. with light hints of chockolate. fine for such a light beer. Medium body and fine length. Some hoppyness making the beer very easy drunk. Bitter coffee, bitter chockolate. Really nice thoug on the light hoppy side.
