500 ml bottle courtesy of Stefan (non-RB). Pours slightly hazy wooden reddish brown with a bubbly goldenish beige head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is sweet with caramel, pears in cognac, overripe apples, wood, alcohol, banana, cereal and wood. Taste is sweet, malty and slightly metallic with sweet dark bread, wood, charred wood, pine, roasted malts, pears, coffee, cognac and hints of grass. Mouthfeel is tiny astringent, tiny dry, tiny boozy and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and bitter with roasted malts, wood, cognac, resin, pumpernickel and pine.

0.5 l bottle, thanks hanniku! Reddish brown color. Sweet thick aroma of raisins, almonds, nuts, toffee, port wine and alcohol. Very sweet and raisiny flavor with toffee, nuts and woody port wine. Very full body. Very thick and port wine like, good dessert sipper.

Bottle at home. Pours brown with a medium tan head. The aroma is booze, oak, brown sugar and some dark fruit. Lacks sweet ness and balancing hops imo. The flavour is highly alcoholic. Underneath some dark fruity and oaky notes mixed with brown sugar. Way too alcoholic to be great.

Bottle@SBWF 2011. Slightly hazy amber colour with a small beige creamy head. Aroma is fruity, grassy, floral and sweet maltyness. Flavour is caramel, toffee, fruity and floral hops along with mild toasted notes and alcohol.

Dark amber coloured and clear. Has no head. Heavy sweet aroma, dark bread, faint cognac, light medicine. Flavor is heavy sweet, more dark bread, light acid, moderate bitter finish. Warming alcohol. Creamy, syrupy texture.
