Cloudy deep blond color; medium sized head. The hop aroma is present but quite light. It has a light toffee flavor and correct bitterness; the Nelson Sauvin hopping can be perceived, with some light citrusy and Passion fruit trace, but it’s very subdued. The final, even if balanced, reminds me some non fresh Pale Ale, therefore this simple beer is not even refreshing enough. Inoffensive.

Bottle, at KØ-10. A hazy, yellow beer with a white head. Grainy nose with some tropical fruits and a touch of pine cones. Grainy flavor with a generic fruityness and tropical fruits. A little bitterness chimes in towards the end. Medium body, dry. Sure, it’s a drinkable beer, but it has be the most uninteresting single hop Nelson Sauvin beers I’ve tasted. And coming from a brewery normally making good beers, I would like to taste it again some time. 100508
