Bottle. Brown colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, hops and smoke.

Bottle, at Ølfestival 2011. A clear, copper colored beer topped by a minimal sized off-white head. Ham, roasted and caramel-ish malts and some hops on the nose. A bit weak and simple. There’s more juice in the flavor, sweetness, smoked malts, ham, a touch of caramel and a suitable amount of bitterness. Full-bodied, but a bit heavy on the carbonation. Ham and some bitterness in the end. A quite nice smoked beer that would be more interesting with less carbonation. 110527

Bottle at KØ-2011. Brown colour with a beige head. aroma is smoked, malt, hop. Flavour is smoked, malt, hop, heather, fruit. OK beer.

From a bottle at GBF 2011. Clear copper, medium beige head. Smoked sausage and tar aroma. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Dry with medium bitterness.

Hazy dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and light peated smoke. Flavor is rather sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. Not enough smoke. 200711

(Bottle 20/07-2011) Beige head, clear dark orange color, smoked aroma and taste, a bit thin body, slightly bitter.

Medium offwhite head. Hazy brown body. Smoky wooden fruity aroma with resiny notes. Dry-sweetish resin and smoke taste with fruity oily notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry fruity bubblegum and resin aftertaste with smoky charcoal notes. Lovely. Different, interesting, and well-balanced. (0.1l from bottle at DBF’11.)

CBF; smoked aroma,golden, hazy, white foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, light body, soft carbonation, nice smoked finish.

Sampled at CBF 2011. Colour is amber and it is faint hazy. Almost no head. Aroma is smoked, malty and sweet too. Nice flavor, slight salty, more smoke, creamy texture and soft carbonation.
