Bottle 500ml @ Geokkjer
Pours pitch black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, smoke and licorice. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long roasted, chocolate, smoke, and coffee finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of smoked and roasted malt with some licorice and chocolate. flavor is roasted and smoked with some sweet caramel, licorice chocolate and raisins.medium body, average carbonation.

Bottle. A black one, topped by a small, dense, tan head. Lots of liqorice and molasses in the aroma, some ammonia candy and roasted malts. The flavor is pretty much the same. It’s nice, but maybe a bit one-dimensional. Roasted, lightly hop-bitter flavor with some coffee notes and a good dash of licorice and ammonia. Medium body, a bit thin for an Imp stout I think, with pleasant carbonation. Some alcohol warmth. Lasting finish. 130614

Bottle, rated from backlog. Aroma of bacon, smoke, roasted malt and smoked meats. Flavor is smoked ham, chocolate, hints of fruit and caramel. Roasty smoky finish.

Bottle. Black with small dark brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, smoke, coffee and a little meat. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, smoke, coffee, medium sweet, little dark fruit and a little meat.

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Black with a dark brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and smoked. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter with warming alcohol. 040213

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are smoke, wood, roast malt, chocolate and hops. Dry and smooth.

500ml bottle. Some smoky aromas, along with roasted and coffee ones. Pours very dark, with small tan head, vanishing, some lacing. Medium to full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Taste is dark cacao, coffee, with some smoky hints, non dominant, wich makes it quite interesting as the mix of flavours results to be pleasant. Enjoyable.

50cl bottle (10.1%) from Vinmonopolet, Vika. Aroma licorice, roasted malt, coffee, chocolalate and smoke. Sweet and roasty with a solid bitterness. Intense beer with a bitter finish. Noticable alcohol. Very nice!
