The beer tasted was a 0,5 liter bottle. It’s a Christmas beer handbrewed near the city of Ringsted. Unfiltered and unpasteured. Dark brown and unclear. Has an off-white head, mostly lasting. Sweet, acidic aroma, faint notes of anise. Flavor is sweet too, has some anoying acid-notes, yeasty too. Creamy, texture, light astringent.

Bottle. Dark amber beer with a small brownish head. Malty aroma, chocolate, rubber notes, yeasty, coriander, licorice, anise, grassy and earthy notes, some soap. Malty soapy flavor, coriander, caramel, anise, earthy, some leather, some floral notes.

Very dark, fluffy head, spicy nose. Soft, well balanced, hops and malt happily cohabiting in a rich brew. The anise gives a lovely liquorice flavour, coffee and cocoa, too. Fruity finsish with lingering spice.

Doft av malt och jul. Frisk smak av bränt socker, lite ramlösa känsla i strupen. 5p av 10 vid julölsprovningen 2011.

Bottle at Papsø. Hazy red-brown coloured with a medium sized off-white ehad. Sweet and spicy aroma of caramel and anise. Sweet flavour of spices, caramel, anise and berries. Spicy finish.

Bottle at Valhal 2012. Hazy brown with a small off-white head. Aroma heavy malty (licorice, dark fruits, orange, brown sugar), Belgian yeast. Flavor medium+ sweet, light+ bitter. Medium+ body.

Bottle at Valhal, Frederikssund. Dark amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of caramel, fruit, spice, hops and licorice.

cloudy brown smooth white head. malty and slightly sort of spicy aroma. flavor is spicy, slightly malty fruity, nice enough, but a bit too much i think if You had a botle to get through. lingering fruity note.
