Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium to dark brown amber colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, sweet candy, sugar, spicy notes, light to moderate yeasty. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet sugary fruit, dried fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. A gorgeous Christmas brew from Det Little Bryggeri. Nice, thick and foamy head with a caramel taste to it. Spicy aromas and flavors with a good hop profile. A brave seasonal which dares to be more than is required or expected.

500 ml bottle, a leftover from Cardinal’s Christmas/Yule beer tasting. ABV is 10%. Dark ruby colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of malts, caramel, alcohol, oak, coriander and a hint of anise. Medium sweet flavour with the same elements as the aroma, minimal hops. Warming mouthfeel.

Fra flaske, DSJT på Cardinal nov-13: Kveldens tredje fra Det Lille Bryggeri, og den beste. Flott skum, nydelig aroma av krydder og humle, og karamellsødmen balanseres av overnevnte elementer. Vintage 2013 er litt vandigere i munnen - trenger den et års lagring?

Bottle, bought @ Barleywine, Cph. Pours clear red chestnut with a medium, frothy, off-white head. Aroma has lovely caramel, raisins, mild milky chocolate, vinious. Medium carbonation, fine dry and creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has fat, toasted caramel, raisins, plums, rather bitter. Rather vinious.
