3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Lovely clear amber with a creamy head. Aroma of toast, light chocolate, nuts and honey. The palate is dry, the flavours consist mainly chocolate and English tasting hops. Although the body is not overly full, the beer shows good balance with a medium bitterness. Finish is medium-long with some nuts and caramel.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
from the pour the beer is a medium brown, quite transparent, with a decent but not great amount of carbination. The head is light and disapears too quickly. The aroma is sweet, nutty and malty and has a strong note of alcohol (a bit too much). The taste is great with a hint of sweet and then builds with a strong hoppy after taste. The bitter remains at the back of the tongue until the next delicious sip. This is a rather interesting land bier, and if it were to have a bit less hoppy finish, it would be a 4.0 beer. I enjoyed this one quite a bit.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cake dough aroma with a touch of roasted malt. Brilliant flavor: chocolate, raisin, malt, cake dough, coffee and even licorice. Both taste and complex, very likeable beer. Just a bit more body and this would be a 4+ beer.

(Bottle 33 cl) Very pretty, clear deep brown with an orangey tint and a creamy, beige head. Very malty flavour with notes of caramel, and a slightly burned touch. Sweetish but neatly balanced. A wellmade and very harmonious beer. 230601

Dark amber coloured, thin long lasting layer; light malty and musty nose, traces of hops and alcohol; shy malty start, light sweet flavour; only weak malty-bitter aftertaste, a bit metallic; kind of a coloured, bland Pils.....
